Populate Wix Form Fields From Database

Hi all,

I don’t think this has been asked before, but apologies if it has.

My site is using Wix forms to send information. What I would like to do is pre-populate some of the fields by using data retrieved from my database. Is this at all possible?

I know I could do this by creating my own form and link the fields to the database, but I would specifically like to use Wix forms. The reason why is that by using Wix forms I can leverage the built-in email service of the form - I think if I was to create my own form I would need to setup an email service first? And I assume that would come with a cost overhead and to be honest I’m not 100% sure how easy that is.

I am also trying to figure out if there is an automatic way to do this - it would be very helpful.
