Question:
Does the Wix POS system support the legally required TSE (Technical Security Device) in Germany, or is there a way to integrate it? If not, are there alternative solutions within Wix to comply with TSE requirements?

What are you trying to achieve:
I want to use Wix POS as my primary cash register system while ensuring compliance with German regulations. According to the German KassenSichV (Cash Register Security Ordinance), a certified TSE is required to securely store tax-related data in a tamper-proof manner. Other providers offer app integrations for this purpose, but I prefer a native solution within Wix without relying on third-party software.

What have you already tried:
I have searched the Wix documentation and forums but couldn’t find a clear answer on whether Wix POS supports TSE integration or if there are plans to include it. I also explored the possibility of connecting an external TSE via an API, but I couldn’t find any official information on that either.

Additional information:
If Wix POS does not support TSE, I would be interested in possible workarounds or external solutions that can seamlessly integrate with Wix. Is there an official partnership with a TSE provider, or are there recommended third-party apps that work well with Wix POS?

Hey, I don’t have an answer for you. But as of now Wix POS is only available in the US and Canada, so you wouldn’t be able to use it in Germany at the time anyway.

I do believe there are other POS that can connect to Wix, but I haven’t integrated any of them myself.
