Problem with embedded HTML code on my site (link not working)

My problem is similar to past posters (where no solution was given).

I’m embedding HTML code onto my site to display an affiliate partner ad. The content displays properly but the ad link doesn’t work.

I’ve watched all the tutorials and read all the instructions but have not been able to solve this.

The code I embedded is below.

I don’t see any code,

(The Wix studio platform converted my code to an image.) But I solved this issue on my own - uploading the third party ad as an image via the URL, then linking the image with my tracking code.

I don’t think the Embed HTML feature works for this purpose.
