Question:
Why can’t I find information about how multilingual sites were created in Wix before Wix Multilingual was launched in December 2018? Wasn’t it possible to build a multilingual site with Wix then and isn’t it still possible to do it the same way today?

What are you trying to achieve:
I have found in practice that Wix Multilingual App has serious software bugs. Not only does it not translate the content of many critical elements, such as collections, but once added as an app it can cause permanent errors in the site. Nevertheless, it seems deliberate to keep the good old method a secret.
What have you already tried:
I’ve done countless searches on the web for the old method, which I’m sure is still valid, to no avail. The links to the old tutorial videos that ChatGPT recommended have also gone to pages that are no longer used. Even articles I’m sure I’ve read before on this subject can’t be found. Wix Customer Service has also been very reluctant to provide a satisfactory answer.
Additional information:
Rather than imposing a problematic App as the only option, a corporate company like Wix should have been much more open in offering alternative solutions. This unethical behavior is unbecoming of Wix and I would like to know why.
