Hi, I am new to Wix E-commerce and to this forum. I would like to know how to program my website (with only one domain) to have different prices for three different locations (country A, country B and others).
Could you please explain how to do this and what programming language is needed for this?
Has anyone done it or has anyone used other workarounds?
Any advice would be super helpful. Thank you very much,
Lau
Lot of people want but wix is not providing currently
Still true as of now, Wix Stores doesn’t have native per country pricing in the catalog itself, only currency handling.
Two realistic routes depending on what you actually need:
If your target markets use different currencies, Wix’s own Multi Currency settings (Accept Payments area) let you set a manual price per currency instead of relying on the auto conversion rate. That covers a lot of cases without any code, since you can just set a specific number for each currency rather than letting Wix calculate it from the exchange rate.
If the markets share a currency but you still want different prices by country, that needs Velo. You detect the visitor’s location (wix geolocation on the frontend, or IP based detection on the backend) and override the displayed price. The part people usually miss is that the override has to carry through to the actual order total at checkout, not just change what’s shown on the product page, otherwise you get a price mismatch between what the visitor saw and what they get charged, which causes disputes. The clean way to do that is an automatic coupon or price rule applied based on the detected location rather than just swapping text on the page.
If this helped, please mark it as Solved.
