I’ve created a site for a client that uses the Wix Store App, so far so great. She also wants a blog - easy! But when I add the blog, the members area “my account” page changes from this one as shown for the store app:
to this one, which has a community URL:
Sorry about the dark image but I haven’t changed any of the design elements yet - I don’t want to do the work on this section if I am going to have to delete it. Hopefully you are familiar with what I mean!
Basically - my client wants to put her blog out there but doesn’t want to use it for community discussions. What she does want, is the option for a returning store customer to be able to update their account details. At the moment if a returning customer checks their account page they will see this URL and I am pretty sure they will freak out, thinking all their details will be seen by everyone else. [I know that’s not so, but they won’t know that].
So how do I get the my account section to display the layout accociated with the store, and not the one associated with the blog? Or is it impossible? [And if it’s impossible then Wix need to make this community url a toggled option, pronto.]
