Read More Dropdown

Hi i am needing to add a read more button which creates a dropdown on my text throughout different sections of my site’s content. I know nothing about coding and read this article to try and do it myself: https://support.wix.com/en/article/corvid-tutorial-expand-text-with-a-read-more-link

I was unsuccessful as I got to a point where the instructions were different to what I was seeing on the screen. Can anyone help? Or maybe suggest who I could hire to do this for me? Or is it easy and I can do it myself? Is there a video tutorial maybe somewhere I can watch?
