Redirect old domain to a new domain

I’m having trouble with
Essentially, I have two domains, call them domain A.ca and domain B .com. I want domain A to be the primary domain and domain B to redirect to domain A. Instead, what is happening is I can access both domains perfectly but domain B doesn’t redirect to domain A. Instead going to domain B has the URL as B .com and not A.ca.

Working in
I’m hosting all the code on Netlify.

What I’m trying to do
Redirect B .com to A.ca

What I’ve tried so far
The Wix chatbot keeps referencing an article on 301 redirects. I’ve tried doing that but when I want to “view redirect” it instead brings me to a Wix 400 page error.

From seeing Netflify’s documentation, to connect a domain to their sites, you need to update the NS records which is currently a feature request. You can transfer the domain though note it can take up to 72 for the domain to fully propogate and it’s advised to update any records like MX records to avoid downtime for services connected to the domain.
