Rigth options panel over the website editor canvas

Hi, I would like to notice that in my case, because I have a pretty normal screen, the right-side option panel keeps staying over the right side of my editor canvas at 100% zoom, so, to see the right side of my design, I have to close the right side panel or the zoom level to 70%, then when I choose the preview button, the zoom level switch back to 100%, so I have to switch back again to 70%, and so on, and so on, what is pretty annoying. Also, I could suggest some space on both sides of the editor canvas, not just to the left.

Hey @Gustavo_Jordan!

This is great feedback, and I’ll be sure to pass it on to the team. In the meantime, it’s possible toa adjust the default width of the editor, to reduce the overlap that you have.

At the moment, you have the canvas set to 1280px in width (as shown in the top middle of the screen).

You should be able to adjust this width, to reduce the overlap.

Let me know if that helps

Yes @noahlovell I did that, but the thing is, that you would like to preview the design, so when you press preview, the zoom option gets reset to 100% again, which is very annoying, you would not work on 800px if the design should be bigger for desktop, so just changed the zoom but keep been reset after each preview, also when you try to get that right side of the website to squash and test the responsive design is funny to do it on the left side, you should let space on the right of the canvas. Maybe would you like to get a video about?

I understand what you mean, and get how it can be frustrating.

Thanks for sharing some examples of why the current solution isn’t sustainable for you :raised_hands: It really helps the product teams understand your point of view.

In the meantime, I’ve shared your insights with the team
