Just thought I would start a discussion around this and wonder how other manage…
I have a new client where there site has just gone live. I would love to run and monitor their facebook ads as part of my service offering but I can only do this as site owner.
The site has a shop and for the client to manage refunds they need to be the site owner. I know there are a number of anomalies like this and I know that for a while roles and permissions are being reviewed but just wondering when these are likely to come online.
I watched with interest the webinar yesterday and also Kate’s recent post on CORE where subscription services are the way forward. Coupled with a branded dashboard now availabele… there are times when I simply can’t see a way to justify keeping the site in my account.
What experiences do others have and what ideas do you have to manage this. Hoping roles and permissions can be slightly more pick and miss in the future. although I do appreciate some of these options are for clients protection.
