Webinar: Navigating Developer Issues with Wix Customer Care
This week, the Studio Developer Relations team held a session on the dos and don’ts of submitting code-related tickets.
They were joined by Customer Care experts who shared best practices for getting your dev issues resolved quickly and effectively - including how to report and debug issues, communicate clearly, and what to expect after submitting a ticket.
WIX SDK update
We’re updating our site loading mechanism from SPAs (single-page applications) to MPAs (multiple-page applications), over the coming weeks, which brings improvements to site and app loading time and navigation.
This change may affect sites that use the wix-memory method from the storage SDK. Studio sites and Wix apps using this method will no longer retain user stored data when navigating between pages.
What you need to do:
If your app or website uses this method and requires that data be retained during navigation, we recommend switching to either the session or local method in the storage SDK.

Include automatic pay links in booking emails and SMS messages
Customers can now pay remaining balances right from their booking notifications with automatic pay links.
Pay links provide customers with a secure, convenient way to pay remaining balances or make upfront payments on services that are typically paid in person. This helps your clients get paid faster and reduces the need for payment follow-ups.
Activate this feature in your clients’ Bookings settings to add pay links to any booking notifications they send via email or SMS.

Your clients can now offer location-specific taxes on booking services
Give your clients control over how taxes are applied by calculating taxes by location.
For every booking service, your clients can choose whether tax is based on their own business addresses or their customers’ billing addresses. They can also apply different rules to appointments, classes, and courses, and tailor settings for online or in-person offerings.
The result is transparent, location-accurate totals at checkout and smoother operations across regions.

Keep your clients’ communities safe.
The new AI-powered spam filter automatically screens new posts for harmful links and language while admin posts remain unaffected. Admins can control when to enable or disable this protection to fit each group’s needs.

Wix Payments: Tap to Pay, Clearpay, Klarna, POS and more now available in the UK
Your clients can now accept online payments via Clearpay, Klarna, and in-person payments via Tap to Pay. They can also accept recurring payments for repeating services or subscriptions and manually enter customer details if needed.
You can add these payment options with a single click from within the Wix Payments settings and manage everything from one unified dashboard.
This is a simple way to make your client’s checkout processes more flexible and boost conversions.
