You can now add hover animations to button icons in Studio 
Choose from a variety of pre-made animations or upload your own custom icons. Animations activate on hover (desktop) or tap (mobile) - perfect for adding that extra sparkle to your clients’ sites
A new set of text effect presets is now available for bolder design
Add a creative twist to your text and create more engaging designs with new text effects. Each effect showcases different, unique capabilities, including 3D-like fills, vibrant gradients and layered compositions. Customize key properties like colors and fonts to match your design.
We’re gearing up to launch a new certification program for Wix Studio creators, including a new badge
We’ve completely redesigned the process to highlight your real-world skills and expertise - letting your work speak for itself.
While we can’t spill all the details just yet, we promise this new certification will be a game changer - helping you showcase your skills and stand out as a certified creator.
As part of this transition, we will be closing the current certification program and won’t be accepting new submissions.
The current certification and badge remain valid and continue to represent your accomplishments. Those of you who earned that badge can keep showcasing it as always.

Build and manage Wix apps and headless sites faster with the new Wix MCP Server
This month also saw the introduction of the Wix Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server, helping developers build and manage projects faster.
Leverage AI tools like Cursor or Claude to generate production-ready code for Wix apps and headless sites based on Wix business solutions using natural language prompts.
The server also offers built-in CRM capabilities to capture and manage leads, such as through forms, and comes with comprehensive back-office management tools.
And if you’re more of a “show me, don’t tell me” kind of person - we’ve got a few quick videos walking you through setup and usage.
Explore Wix Studio’s updated Coding Examples hub
The Code Examples hub also saw a refresh, with updated code examples built on the Javascript SDK. From “hello world” starters, to 3rd-party API integrations, find practical solutions you can easily copy to create dynamic custom sites for your clients.
Build and sell editor add-on extensions
Extend the functionality of the Wix and Wix Studio editors by building custom panels with tools that improve the site-building experience.
These panels can include features like design guides, accessibility tools and other enhancements, providing users with additional resources to build and manage their sites more effectively.
Add-on panels run as an iframe, providing the flexibility to build and deploy them using any tools or frameworks you choose. You can then sell them on the Wix App Market.
