Studio Editor: control positioning and spacing more intuitively
At Open Studio earlier last year, we gave a preview of revamped controls for docking, margins, padding and gaps in the Studio editor - and now it’s available for all.
Here’s what’s new:
- You’ll find padding and gaps under the ‘Layout’ category in the Inspector
- Docking and Margins can still be found under the Position category.
- We’ve also made it easier to switch between units on all sides when working with padding, gaps and margins.
- Scalable units (px*) are now the default unit when editing margins, padding and gaps in the Studio Editor, offering pixel-like design precision while ensuring responsiveness, with options to use px, %, vh and vw based on your needs.
Say hello to the new unified menu component!

Also announced at Open Studio last year - with the new menu component, you can design a single menu that works seamlessly across desktop, tablet and mobile.
Here’s more of what you can achieve:
- Customize each breakpoint with its own layout and design adjustments, ensuring a consistent and optimized experience for your visitors.
- Leverage advanced design capabilities to create menus that reflect your site’s unique style.
- Enjoy improved support for sub-items in mega menus - even on mobile devices - allowing you to organize your content more effectively.
- Choose from new animation presets to add movement to the menu
We’d love to hear your thoughts after trying it out!
