I am struggling with an issue

I am working on a mindfulness website and at the moment when users join a course or try to meditate along with the coach after the mobile device goes to sleep the audio/video stops and ruins the user’s experience.

My question is the following: Is there any way to continue playback on a video after the device goes to sleep?

I think video (but not audio) should automatically prevent the sleep mode while playing. Is it goes into sleep mode when you tied it? Is it a looping video?

Hi Robert! Same issue here :slight_smile: Did you already get an answer? Or find a way people can just keep on listening to audio files - and not needing to change phone settings :roll_eyes: I’d love to hear!

There is a way to continue playback on a video after the device goes to sleep if to use the Wake Lock API. It’s compatible with Velo for Wix. This API can be used to prevent the device from going to sleep while the video is playing.
Just keep in mind that using the Wake Lock API can impact the device’s battery life. So it’s important to know how long should a marketing video be and use it only when necessary.
