Hello Wix Community, I’m planning to migrate my service-oriented website from WordPress to Wix. Could you provide guidance on a smooth migration process? Specifically: Preparation: Steps to prepare for migration and tools for backing up a WordPress site? Content Transfer: Best practices for transferring service pages, blog posts, and images to Wix? Design and SEO: Tips for replicating or improving site design and maintaining SEO rankings? Functionality: Ensuring smooth transition of contact forms, scheduling tools, and customer reviews? Verification: How to verify everything transferred correctly and test website functionality on Wix? Your insights and experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thank you Sami

We just launched a new feature that lets you migrate your site from WordPress to Wix, frontend and backend data included. To get started, open any AI coding agent (like Claude or Codex) and use the prompt below, adjusted to fit your site: I want to migrate my WordPress website from {my-website-url} to Wix using the following skill: skills/skills/wix-replatform/SKILL.md at main · wix/skills · GitHub Include all frontend and backend data in the migration, including {CRM and contacts, product data, bookings, blog posts, and customer purchase history}. Guide me through the process and confirm your plan with me before implementing it. Once I confirm, start the migration. A few things to know before you begin: Most WordPress data moves over smoothly. Some plugin data may not be transferable. Some steps need you. Things like granting access to your WordPress dashboard and connecting your domain to the new Wix site require your action and approval. Your AI agent will walk you through them, so keep an eye on its progress. You choose the scope. Migrate only the frontend, or include backend data as shown in the prompt. The more you tailor the prompt to your site, the better the results. This skill is still evolving. We’ll keep updating it with new and improved capabilities. Have feedback? We’d love to hear it.
