Hi there, My name is Courtney and I’ve been a Wix designer for about 10 years. I love making great websites and partnering with awesome people. You can see the kind of work I do at www.courtneymansell.com .
I’m seeking a remote, long-term, project-based Production Artist / Design Assistant to help me with overflow work on my clients’ Wix websites.
Your work would include:
-
Mostly beginner and some intermediate Wix tasks
-
Laying out text on assigned pages, sometimes migrating an existing site’s text content into a Wix site
-
After being given a style guide, setting up font and color in the theme manager, and then applying it to all text on all webpages
-
Setting up pages with placeholders for graphics to be added in later
Skillset Needed
-
An eye for good design (typography, layout, color, brand)
-
You rock at Wix and have at least ~1 year experience in it.
-
Adobe software skills not necessary
-
You typically respond to emails within a day
-
Working from any timezone is fine, just be fluent in English. I am in MST (Arizona, USA) timezone.
-
You’re comfortable in project management software like Asana (or willing to learn)
-
You take your work, but not yourself, seriously.
Extra awesome (and will pay more) if you have:
-
Coding abilities (javascript, corvid/velo)
-
Skills in more advanced Wix applications like databases, members, stores, bookings, custom forms.
Hours & Pay
-
I’m open to pay in terms of doing hourly or project-based or whatever works for you, but generally, I’m looking to pay about $30 USD/hour.
-
Your paid time isn’t just when you’re in the editor, but also includes time spent on training, project management, emails, and meetings.
-
This will be project-based, with anywhere from 1 to 3 websites a month that may need 6-20 hours of work each. Maybe an average of 24 hours ($720) per month.
-
Looking to start Monday! I have about 20 hours of work waiting for you.
Sound like you?
Email me at hello@courtneymansell.com with your online portfolio (if you happen to have one), and some info on your experience, skillset, and pay rate.
