Services & Forms

My client has an intake form that has variable questions based on desired services. It’s an extensive form tapping out at nine sections with around 100 questions. A multi-step form is necessary for that reason. However, depending on the services requested, some of the sections (and related questions) are unnecessary. It would be so great if there were a way to skip pages within the multi-step form based on answers (Google, JotForm, and TypeKit can all do that!)

I have also tried to do a booking form for the simpler services, but found that I was limited to text-based fields, no radio button, dropdowns, or multi-choice options - which also strikes me as an area that could be improved.

TLDR: Has anyone figured out a workaround to use conditions and skip pages within a multi-step form or to add more fields (radio button/dropdown/etc.) to a booking form?

Hi Jess!

Lior from Wix Bookings team.
First of all, thanks for taking the time to write here
As for the issue you brought up - indeed Bookings form currently doesn’t support all of the field types you’ve mentioned (drop-downs, radio buttons, etc.). A nice workaround we see users implementing is, using CRM Automations, to send user the form via e-mail. Or, as part of Bookings form, you can add a link to an external form and ask the user to confirm she filled the form (see screenshot below).

Please let me know if you have any questions.
