Showcase: Crafting a Responsive E-Commerce Grid Layout on Wix Studio
Hey fellow Wix Studio creators,
I wanted to share a recent e-commerce layout concept we’ve been refining natively inside the Studio editor. The goal was to build an ultra-clean, editorial-style grid layout tailored for a premium fashion brand, ensuring flawless breakpoint scaling across desktop, tablet, and mobile fluid text boxes.
Key challenges we focused on:

Ensuring custom product grids maintain precise image proportions on ultra-wide screens without distorting the typography.

Implementing subtle, native hover animations on product cards that don’t cause layout shifting or lag on mobile safari.

Streamlining the checkout and cart flyout interactions for a minimal, boutique aesthetic.
