Sidebar outside of parameters

I’ve build my own website in 2022 and after a rebranding last month the parameters (size) of the site changed. With the sidebare you can al the way to the right, where there is blank space. However in the editor this space isn’t there. How can I change the size of de page and remove the sidebare?

I’m a small Business owner and don’t have a lot of time to explore. I’m still using Wix Editor.

I want the blank space gone, so you’re not able to scroll right.

I’ve whatch serval tutorioals but thay al talk about making the page adabteble to the size of you screen. Not about minimizing the blank space.

Please help

Hey @Berith_Spoelstra!

I think I’m following what’s happening - are you able to share a screenshot of what you’re seeing or a link to the site that might just clarify?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Noah,

As you can see in the image below there is a whole white space on the side of my page. You can scroll the with the lower sidebar.

In the editor this space is not visible.

Ahhhh, this makes sense.

Seems like it might be on the Wix Editor - when working in the Wix Editor, you’ll see the dotted lines down the middle of the canvas. To ensure that content is visible across all devices, and to prevent horizontal scroll like this, elements should be kept within their dotted lines.

If it’s happening across all pages, I’d check something like your menu in the header to see it’s width. If it’s much larger than the dotted lines, make it smaller to fit within and you should be set to go :muscle:
