Hello I’m having trouble with erros in google console I have errors on Google Console and I’m having trouble understanding how to fix them. Specifically, the homepage is not indexed because there is an unrecognized videobox that is not on the reading page (how to put it on Wix on the reading page). Thank you for your help. Here are the errors. The site has been online for 6 months now.

The messages in Search Console just mean Google found your pages but hasn’t indexed all of them yet. Things like “crawled, not indexed” or “duplicate page” aren’t errors — they’re just Google saying, “I’ve seen this page but I’m still deciding if it should appear in search.”
If the video is just being used as a background video (for design or visual effect), which I can see is the case for your home page, you don’t need to do anything about that specific Google Console warning.
Google only looks for playable, content-based videos to index (like ones meant to appear in search results). Background videos aren’t meant to be indexed, so it’s normal for Search Console to flag them as “unrecognized” - it won’t affect your site’s ranking or indexing.
Sitemap warnings or errors in Google Search Console are usually related to how Google processes URLs, rather than an issue with sitemap generation itself. Sitemap and indexing reports are part of Google’s crawling workflow and don’t always indicate a problem.
Here’s how to interpret and resolve the most common cases :
Sitemap generation :
Wix automatically generates and updates your sitemap at /sitemap.xml
Indexable pages are added automatically; no manual submission or editing is required
Dynamic pages and multilingual versions are included when enabled
Submitted URL not indexed / Discovered but not indexed :
These are status messages, not sitemap errors
They usually mean Google hasn’t crawled or prioritized the URL yet
No action is needed unless the page is unintentionally blocked
404 or redirected URLs in Search Console :
Old URLs can remain visible in GSC after content changes
As long as proper redirects are in place (or the pages are intentionally removed), this is expected behavior
Google will eventually drop these URLs after recrawling
Excluded or no index pages :
Pages set to no index, password-protected pages, or system pages are intentionally excluded
These should not be indexed and can safely be ignored in GSC reports
Validation and best practices :
Confirm the page is indexable (no no index, not blocked by robots)
Use the URL Inspection tool to check live indexing status
Request reindexing only after meaningful changes
