One of the constant irritants/hassles is when I want to add an element to a site and I have to deconstruct any of the options I choose.

Wouldn’t it be great if at the top of many of the ‘add elements’ you had a ‘blank’ choice? So, for example, below is the idea with the Lists and Grids palette. I just want a single blank square with nothing applied to it—just one empty square.

Oh my goodness, you have literally hit the nail in the head. THIS is what i need. Everytime i go to use repeaters i have to relax myself before getting frustrated at having to remove all the placeholder content inside them - i just need the repeater to be blank.
