Alright guys, I have a contact form heavy website (for various organic and paid landing pages and topically speaking, we wanted to track these separately and our only means was a thank you page, so there is equal count of thank you pages, anyway) and need my contact form information to log into a database of inquiries.
Is this possible?
Additionally, I would like to see if there is a way to go about this on top of above:
If the above database connection is possible, can I then for example have a separate page for uploading documents that can then per EMAIL FIELD value can insert a document or picture into that line of database that was earlier created via a contact form? Not sure how clear this sounds, but this is the best way I can put my follow up question right now.
If this is possible, my clients life and by that account my life will become a bit less hectic and easier to manage on this site.
Hi! Standard contact form can’t be used totrack information - it’s the same issue as working with verticals (bookings, stores)
It’s just not developed yet
I suggest you - redevelop all contact forms with wix code, it’s the most flexible way
Ok thanks for that clarification, I almost thought as much, but was hoping there might be one of them magical manual ways to make it work. I will rebuilt my contact forms from scratch to connect to dbs in that case.
But essentially, we really need that to happen on dev side, especially Wix Booking. I have already spoken to Wix Booking lead a few months back about this and other features. I hope yall can git r done it fast, my clients are small timers mostly, but they are busy. and hate email based stuff… they are modern and young and know about back-ends and dashboards. That is all. I can only try to hold them off for so long before they push for some other solution…
