Store Breadcrumb problem

Hi all, I’m new to all things WIX, and I have recently started to put together a website, but I’m having a particular problem I just can’t seem to find any help with, or a cure for…

On my website, I have 9 store pages, one for each product range (soaps, bathbombs, aromatherapy, etc). On my home page I have links to all the product ranges and all works well… until I click on a product within one of the collections.

When I go into a product detail, I see the breadcrumbs - which is exactly what I want. However, the breadcrumbs are very inaccurate - and frequently show the wrong collection (especially when you first visit the site). For example I have a ‘soaps’ range. So I click on the soaps link and it takes me to the correct store and displays all the soaps. BUT, then if I click on a soap to view the detail, I’ll see the breadcrumb as Home → Aromatherapy → Soapx instead of the correct Home → Soaps → Soapx

Sometimes if I do a screen refresh then the correct breadcrumb path will suddenly show.
Any ideas anyone how I can cure this breadcrumb problem? Or is there someway of disabling the built-in breadcrumbs and doing them manually with some code? Once you’ve been using the site for a few mins, all seems to settle down and work OK, so it just seems to mainly be an issue when the site first loads.

The Wix Stores breadcrumbs is part of the Wix Stores app and is not something that can be integrated with code.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve tried going through support, but they are not replying to me. There is definitely a bug in the store breadcrumbs as it repeatedly shows the breadcrumb trail for the wrong collections. Then if you do a refresh of the screen the right one appears… I guess I’ll just have to keep pulling my hair out trying to figure out a cure…

I had the same issue and contacted with wix support for more than 3 times. One of them spoke to me via phone for almost 2 hours but nothing solved.

Hi Mark, I’m having the same problem in our store that we’re creating. I visited your website and it seems to work ok for you - did you manage to fix this?
