Hi, I test out various templates in Wix studio, but when I have published them and try to see them live, the website is blocked with the following text “You are about to enter an unsafe website!” They are not connected to any domain, but free with Wix Studio.
What can I do to view the site?
That would be your browser blocking anything that is not https ( doesnt have a valid SSL Certificate)
you can still access the site by clicking advanced/proceed.
It is weird though as all the free sites I publish with Wix have a valid SSL Cetificate.
Do you have a link to the live site ?
Hi Dan, and thank you very much for your reply.
Unfortunately, I don’t know much about SSL and certificates
Yes, I think it’s strange and I don’t understand it either. My older “free” websites I have created with Wix, appear as usual in browsers.
But when I now try to create a new website in Wix studio, they are blocked. I have tested for both Safari, Chrome and Firefox.
Here is the link to a live page created in Wix Studio with a template
https://akjolerbakken.wixstudio.io/portfolio
And a print screen of the message I get, and if I press advanced and accept to proceed, it is still blocked.
does not block at all for me. I tested in Chrome and Edge. So must be a Firefox issue.
Hi again Dan
Ok, great that you can see it.
But for me it is blocked, and I have tested both for Safari, Google Chrome and Firefox, so it is not the browsers and Firefox issue
. The page is blocked by my internet provider Telenor, which says the following.
You are about to enter an unsafe website!
Network security from Telenor has therefore blocked this website to protect you from digital threats.
If you want a stronger security filter for even better protection, you can activate Nettvern+.
And I can’t get past that.
But the strange thing is that it doesn’t block my older websites, only the ones I create recently, and I don’t understand any of that.
Hey!
I chatted with the team about it, and as you found out quicker than I did it’s likely an issue with an internet provider/security installed on device etc.
It’s probably best to open a ticket with Customer Care who can gather more information
