Question:
I’m receiving an Error 500 message when helping my client move their Premium package and URL from their existing site to the new Studio Site I’ve built them. How can I get this transferred??

What are you trying to achieve:
My customer had an existing Wix site with a paid package and URL. I want to transfer that over to the new site I’ve built them (they have ownership of both sites at this time). I understand they’ll have to upgrade to Premium Plus from Premium Business and we’re ok with that.
What have you already tried:
I’ve cleared caches, tried different browsers, tried different computers. I’ve been on the phone with support already and have been exchanging chats/emails and updating help tickets for over 24 hours now trying to resolve this. I’ve gotten 0 answers. That said, Error 500 is standard code for an internal server issue.
Additional information:
Their old site was built with Wix Editor. The new site I’ve made for them is in Studio. When I go through the process to transfer everything, I’m given the option to view packages and THAT is when it all goes to pot. I get an error message. I’ve been told my case is being escalated, but I can’t get ANYTHING from Wix about when I can expect to see their site online finally outside of Wix telling us to buy ANOTHER package subscription and put my customers out that much more money, which is a frankly ridiculous recommendation when the issue is on Wix’s end to begin with. I don’t understand why Wix can’t facilitate the transfer on the back end and put an end to this issue.
