Transferring a Wix Studio site to my client who has a site created in Wix Editor

My client has an existing Wix website created in Wix Editor. I have created a new website for them in Wix Studio, how do I transfer their site to the new one in Studio?

Do I transfer the site to my client (the current wix owner) OR do I have to port everything over to the NEW WixStudio site including their URL.

Can I ask you how you solve the problem?
I’m trying tio understand what happens when I build a site in wix studio and transfer it to a client’s wix account, would they be able to edit the site from their editor? How does it works?

It’s not currently possible to move sites between the editors - but you can transfer them between accounts.

If you’re client has a Wix.com account, you can transfer a Studio site to them, with a few caveats:

• Only Studio accounts can duplicate sites - your client won’t be able to duplicate their account
• The default editing mode for them is “Content mode” - Studio Editor: Understanding How Clients Edit Their Site | Help Center | Wix.com - they’ll need to click the little dropdown next to “Edit site” in the dashboard to access cull editing mode.

Thank you for your answer.
In regards to purchasing a plan, if my client buys a wix plan will he still have access to the transferred wix studio website but with some restrictions has you mentioned before. Is that the way it works?
