One of the trendiest contemporary layouts is showing off your design gridlines. The best way to build it on Editor X is to let the section background color appear as grid lines behind your design.
There are two ways you can approach this, depending on your content.
First, give your section the background color you want your lines to have. Next, place your grid, and inside the grid cells, place stretched colored containers or images according to your design.
Now there are two methods to make the gridlines appear
For a simple layout, go with:
Grid gaps - In grid edit mode, you can set vertical and horizontal gaps. This method is the quickest. It would work perfectly with any layout which is built out of containers and items.
If you plan to use advanced layout tools like Repeaters or Layouters, you should use the following method:
Margins - After placing your items in the suitable grid cell, adjust your margins to show off the background layer. Layouters and Repeaters have padding based on the gaps between the items. You can adjust the margins, even to negative values.
