Two websites in one

I am developing a portfolio CV of interior design projects to send to potential employers. Example domain - www.emilyannsmith.com

I then want to duplicate this website and have a website which is for freelance work. It will have the same portfolio of projects but have an additional page to advertise services to potential clients.

Example domain - www.emilyann.com First and middle name to be used as the company name.

What is the cheapest way for me to do this?

Will I have to pay for two separate plans?

I can only foresee using the professional CV websites for a few months until I find a new job so was considering just paying monthly, but then you have to pay for the domain separately and I can’t see how much wix would charge for this but I know it’s cheap to buy on go daddy.

Is there a way to host both on one wix plan and buy the other domain separately?

On a separate note, will I be able to hide the professional CV from appearing in google searches - so it could just be for employers who I send the link to?

I’ve similarly thought about changing the name of the freelance website to a different company name so it does not show up on potential employer searches but unsure about this.

Many thanks for any help.

Each site would have to have its own plan. There is no “combining” or “sharing” a plan.

Wix domains cost around $15 and up.

If the CV file is an uploaded file, Wix doesn’t really have a way of locking that URL. Once you share that URL it’s basically out there.

If the CV is a page on your site, you can set page settings to no index.

As far as general SEO between one site and the other, you can’t really prevent some people from finding you in search results while others not. Your either found and your site is indexed—- or it’s not. Working in the relevant SEO for each site will help reach the right audience. The name of the domain itself won’t impact much —— it’s the duplicated content that will generate “similar” SEO results.
