Hi, I have been trying to connect a dropdown to existing field in database to populate dropdown using the items in field. I tried clicking on “Connect to Data” but it does not show me existing databases. It is asking me to create new dataset, which then does not show me values already stored in existing databases. I went through multiple posts and it seems this should be quite straightforward, but unable to make it work. Can anyone guide me on what I am missing?
You can’t connect a dropdown to a data base , you can only connect it to a data set .
So add a dataset to your page set the collection and connect it to the dropdown.
