Undo and Redo Buttons Not Working in Wix Studio Editor

Good Day,

I’ve recently encountered an issue in the Wix Studio editor where the “Undo & *Redo” buttons are no longer working. No matter what changes I make, clicking these buttons doesn’t revert or redo any action.

This issue started unexpectedly, and I haven’t made any major changes to my browser or settings. I’ve tried the following steps without any success:

  • Refreshing the editor.
  • Clearing my browser cache.
  • Switching to a different browser (Chrome and Firefox).

    They just appear dark, Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, do you have any tips or fixes? I’d appreciate any help to get these buttons working again.

To resolve the issue of unresponsive Undo and Redo buttons in Wix Studio, ensure there are actual changes to undo, verify browser compatibility, and disable extensions that may interfere. Clear cache, cookies, and local storage, and test the editor in incognito mode or on a different device. If the issue persists, log out and back in or contact Wix Support for further assistance.

This must be an issue on Wix end, because this just started happening for me as well and I have tried everything. This is incredibly frustrating.

Edit: I spoke with support, they also noticed the issue and are escalating the ticket to one of their teams. Hopefully this will have a resolution soon!

Yeah I think so, Cause I have tried everything even using a different Laptop
I Just sent a complaint to the wix team, For now, I’m avoiding the redo and undo buttons since the issue keeps recurring. The last time I used them, all my current work was deleted, with no way to restore them. I’m waiting for them to resolve the problem.

Have you ever used site history on your dashboard to restore previous versions of your site? In the future if you ever have a lot of work that is deleted or run into an unrecoverable issue, you can bring up previously saved versions of your site and restore it to that version. Although I don’t prefer to have to do this, I have used this many times as a result of unpredictable behavior by the editor.
