Unpublished site is distorted and out of proportion on Open Test Site

Question:

  • Why is my website distorted when deployed to the" open test site"? In editor and preview mode everything is in line and at the right proportions, but when I open it in “Open Test Site” everything is out of proportion.

What are you trying to achieve:

  • I am trying to test the site and see what it would look like as a published website.
  • The website is distorted when deployed on the “OPEN TEST SITE”. Most of the designs are not proportional even though it looks perfect in the editing studio and in preview mode.

What have you already tried:

  • To try and fix the problem, I have gone back into editor studio and adjusted some items and measurements, however these changes don’t make a diffrence and are unnoticeable in “Open test site”.

Additional information:
Unfortunately due to a number of issues I keep coming across on Wix Studio, I have experienced a massive delay in publishing my website. I would greatly appreciate it if I can get quick help. Thank you.

As @Dan_Suhr mentioned, it’s likely due to the responsive properties.

Also worth checking if you’re using different layout tools - like stack, container, or section grid. They’re all a great help and helping content be aware of its position on the page and scale accordingly.
