Update database field after onclick button

I have a quoation request form, that exists out of a few dynamic pages, each being one step in the quotation process. Each page has a button that is connected to my database to submit the input fields and to continue to the next page. Half way I would like this submit button to also update the value in a database field, I played around with the onClick function but without any luck so far. Basically there is already a value in the “status” database field, but I would like to update it.

Verstehe nicht ganz wie dein Aufbau ist.

Also du willst das der Kunde auf einen Submit Button klickt oder willst du das er den Button gar nicht sieht und es im Hintergrund automatisch passiert? Hast du ein CMS Feld auf der Seite verknüpft, welches den Wert “Status” definiert?

Kannst du mal ne grobe Skizze oder nen Screenshot senden, wie das bei dir aussieht?
