Hi Tom,

If you wish to perform a one-time upload of many files, the media manager allows you to upload multiple files simultaneously by dragging and dropping.

Regarding Corvid related solutions -

Currently the upload button only works for one image at a time.
There’s also a new Media API that allows you to import multiple files (from URLs) to your site media using code
