Hello,
I’m trying to create a team page using the wix repeater that was available. All of the fields show up on my site except for the URL field. I have already tried to delete it, redo it, it IS synced and published after changes, and still nothing. Can’t get a link to show up. Am i doing something wrong???
in this screenshot you can see the link field is there.
but then this is what it looks like on the site: every other field is there except for the URL one… can anyone please help me??
I´ll have a wild guess here, because you don´t show us any code, nor editor screen shots. Assuming you have put that field onto the page: are you sure that you didn´t refer to it by it´s label “Link to site”, but, as it should be, by it´s field name (see Column Properties in Data Manager)?
Well, i didn’t do anything differently with the other fields… plus that one was already there and set up, all i changed was the title. and the other fields showed up perfectly. I tried adding another field setting it up as URL and same thing- didn’t show up. I tested it with adding an e-mail field and it worked on the first go. Hope that makes sense… i just dont use code and I liked that this was the preset one on wix that seemed to have everything I needed

This is how I set it up, it worked with even a video link but for some reason is just not showing up with a URL setting
OK, that´s how you set it up in the database. Can you show us how you display it on a page?
Hi @knhinojosa95 !
I see a lot of 956 in that database. I’m from the RGV too!
Welcome to the Corvid forum. Looks like you are having trouble connecting your data to your page elements? If you are using a URL field so that users can click and be redirected to that URL, then you should add a button to your page and connect it that way.
There are no buttons in the screenshots you provided, so I assume you are not done designing your page. Also, I recommend you use Rich Text field for the ‘long description’. It is a great way to write paragraphs, gives you extra formatting options than plain text and even allows you to hyperlink text.
It seems you used a preset database instead of starting from scratch. This possibly means you simply used the page as-is instead of adding text /elements and connecting the items to the database yourself. Don’t worry — you wont need to write any code to finish connecting your fields. Take a look at this Basics video to get you familiar with how to use this area: Corvid Basics: Create a Database, Presets, Dynamic Item vs Category, Import Data - YouTube
Let us know if you figure it out! Good luck on your project.
haha love meeting people from the RGV! and thank you - your post was A LIFE SAVER. You’re the best, thank you so much!
