I want to use a font that has a few different styles. I’ve designed my site in Figma to use the alternate font style only. How can I ensure that the fonts on my site all appear in the alternate style instead of the primary style?
You can use typography styles to use same font for every option:

Thanks Andrew, but I’m wanting to use certain glyphs of the font like an alternate letter ‘g’ or an alternate letter ‘a’ for the font. Using the same font for every option isn’t an issue for me. Sorry if that was unclear in the original post.
since this is not the whole font, but only some specific letters in one font, I’m not sure that such feature is expected by the Editor X
if you could have this combination as separate font, you could upload it as a custom one, but there is no feature for automagical combination on letters, as I know
@Rob do you have any ideas on this?
I think you’re right Andrew. @carissetam do you have an example of a program that allows that?
Most applications I’ve seen will type out it one typeface. You could select the text but I would be wary of this since these kind of changes would be considered a data change.
As far as I know, I’ve seen that it’s not an option in other website builders, but is achievable using custom code. Is there code that will allow an alternate style to be used? The font I’m trying to use is the Google Font DM Sans. I’ve attached a screenshot of how selecting an alternate style looks in Figma.
You can try adding custom code to the site but know that customer support can only provide limited support when it comes to these since the code will usually come from third-parties.
Okay, thanks.
