USPS shipping label purchase zip code error

I attempted to fulfill an order this morning by purchasing a shipping label within my Wix store via U.S. Postal Service on my desktop Mac. But the system reported “invalid zip code”. I clicked EDIT to check the buyer’s info and it all appeared to be correct. Tried to purchase again and got the same error message.

Could the Wix address fields be mapping incorrectly with the USPS API? From what I saw, it seemed that USPS was expecting zip code data, but may have been supplied some other data field.

The same buyer info was available at PayPal and I had no trouble processing the shipping label there.

American address form is:
Name
Company (if applicable)
Street Address
City State ZipCode
