WCAG 2.2 AA as much as possible

What I’m trying to do
I’ve been tasked with making all WIX websites my company has made, and will make, as compliant to WCAG 2.2 AA as possible. We are using WIX Studio but we have a couple WIX Classic Editor sites from the past.

I’m having trouble with
I’m having trouble with things like applying ARIA, Changing the focus order, Changing the default focus outline/ indicator. Also reading order for screen readers. Changing DOM order is always tricky too.

Working in
WIX Studio & WIX Classic Editor

Site link
I may be able to supply links to sites, but I’d need confirmation to share from both Higher up and Client. And the link would be provided to individuals, not provided in this post

What I’ve tried so far
I’ve been using the Velo code suggestions via WIX’s ai, as well as their documentation. Not everything seems to be available. Can I use javascript?

You can use the accessibility options in the velo code to set the name, order, label, etc. You can also use the in built Reorganise DOM order option. For dynamic pages, the essential fields has a accessibility connection now as well.

Another example. NVDA Lists: I have repeater with 4 “Cards.” When screen reader arrives at the 1st card in the list it mentions it’s 1 our of 4 in the list (not a quote). Is there a way for each card / list-item to be read: # our of 4

I added a ARIA-role as list and the cards listitem. But NVDA doesn’t ready # out of 4. Is there a way to have that spoken?
