Web building issues on standard version

I’ve just started using Wix and didn’t realise there was a Studio version. With the standard version, I’m having issues with the site. I only have a small screen on my laptop, so had to zoom out with my mouse scroller to edit with a clearer view. All the separate parts (text, images) moved about on the screen as I scrolled out and, when I scrolled in again, they had been dislodged. I had to reposition them. I’ve now set my browser’s zoom to 100%, but it’s difficult to use. Plus, the Preview view isn’t exactly the same as in the editing view and I don’t know how to correct it. What do I do?

I believe you can’t transfer a site being built on the standard version to the Studio version? Even if I did rebuild my site on Studio, would I still have the zooming out problem? Cheers, Alex

I’d recommend against using the browser zoom when editing in the editors - it’s likely to lead to the issues you mentioned.

In Studio, you have the option to adjust the editing zoom size - so if you want a zoomed out canvas, that’s an option (And yes you’d need to rebuild).

I’d recommend opening a new Studio site and giving it a test - explore if it’s the right option for you before making the move over
