I am looking for a plug-in type program that works with Wix sites that allows for a customer to input information and that information to show up on a product shown for sale on the site. For example, custom engraved plates.

I’m trying to have a feature on the site that will show customer’s what their piece would look like with their custom information.
Are you talking about a → SALE-PREVIEW ?
Maybe? This would be very custom items, not just like a t-shirt with a certain graphic on it. The customer would input data that would need to show on the preview.

Someking of a FORM / GENeRATOR, which will take some DATA of the USER/PRODUCT, and will generate a PREVIEW out of it, telling the user —> “This is how your PRODUCT will look like” <---- ???

Wix do not provide such technology.
You will have to generate your —> PREVIEWER ← b< your own using CODE, either directly on the wix-page (using wix-elements, what will be a mess and difficult), or using a custom-element or HTML-Component for your purposes.
