Hello, all.

Hi, can you please share a link to your website so we can inspect?
Hello, I am now getting this since yesterday myself? I have no idea why it keeps popping up. It’s exactly the same message as above. My website is loveupsidedown.com I can’t tell yet if it’s happening with others, or if it’s because I have a membership account to my own site. But I am logged out of the membership site and it still pops up!
… continued "it seems only I’m seeing it. I asked a friend to go to my website and it did not pop up for her.
We have some info from when you’ve been to our site before.Check that everything is correct.
Edit Account Info Back to site
Is this something in the cookies or maybe related to the IP address so that returning users update their profile with new contact information? I’m getting it too and I hate it! It’s VERY annoying. If my returning site visitors get this because they’re logged into the site on that computer, I’m going to start losing customers. I don’t see that my people don’t like this kind of intrusion. We need a way to remove this feature. Thanks.
Now I can’t even view my own site. I was getting that page that popped up saying “welcome to your account…etc” and now that pops up and disappears and I’m left not being able to see my own site! I get a blank page! Please help! loveupsidedown.com
Put a ticket into Wix Support as I am guessing that it isn’t to do with Wix Code.
Also, try having a look at this page too:
I’m having the same problem. It is getting on my last nerve, never mind my customers’ nerves. Has anyone figured out a way to resolve this?
I’m having the same issue all of a sudden! I sent an email to Wix support and am waiting for their response.
did one get a fix for this? my site has starting doing this too!
Hi All - I sent an email to Wix support and they replied with:
“For security, we sometimes ask site visitors to verify their email address. This may happen for several reasons, such as if you have more than one contact with the same details, or when a visitor tries to create a member account with an already existing email in your Contacts.Your site visitors will receive an email asking them to click to confirm their email address. This is a standard procedure and they should not be concerned by it. This is the message that your site visitor might see when signing up”
So, apparently, there is no getting rid of it. I did, however, delete the members area of my site because it just seems that Wix doesn’t have the capabilities for member management as some other sites do. It just became too complicated for me to deal with, relative to my blog. Not worth the hassle!
Thanks for letting us know. This is ridiculous though. All my members are getting this message.
Has anyone else figured a way around this yet? Thanks.
I am having the same problem. We just need to be able to disable this pop up as it is a bad customer experience to get this every-time you return to the site. Help us WIX!
Hi all, I’m having trouble reproducing the issue. I only see that message once when I sign up and log in as a member for the first time.
If someone can reliably reproduce this and list the steps for how to trigger it, that would help us a lot to track it down. Thank you.
This is super annoying. @Chaim Kram , I tried to reproduce this in an incognito browser but I couldn’t. It seems that there was a stagnant cookie in my browser that was forcing this to happen.
Here’s how I got rid of it in Chrome:
Thanks Ryan! I did it and the message stoped on my browser, but my clients won’t be able to get rid of it, and that’s what we’re all looking for.
Does anyone at wix have any idea how frustrating this problem is? I tried above workflows, I constantly get the popup window telling me about my account if I’m logged out or even deleted my account, no matter how much I log out back in delete cookies. I literally can’t develop a member login page as a result, and get the feeling this desired.
Any new tips on how to nuke this problem or start from fresh really appreciated!
Bet they don’t
I am curious to know if this problem is really being experienced by your Site users OR if this is an assumption derived from your own Site testing. Clearly actual complaints are important and should be used as evidence for Support reports.
Here are some considerations based on my experience.
Does the problem occur in all of your browsers (I know most of you will probably have Chrome AND Safari or Edge). If the problem can be recreated in both then share that and call support as this is likely to be a Wix platform problem and not Corvid specific.
If you have been opening multiple Wix Sites from the same browser either published or in the Wix Editor, or even have multiple Browser windows with multiple tabs open, then sometimes cookies do get confused especially if you leave multiple tabs open off of the same Account. This may not be a Wix issue per se but a Chrome issue of you see it happening in Chrome. This is why Ryan’s delete cookie proposal will work (but you should consider closing all windows and logging out of Wix before you do this.
Deleting Wix Session cookies sometimes helps, in other cases you sometimes need to exit Chrome and (dare I say it) reboot to force Chrome to be a better citizen. In the background, on the browser, Wix starts up multiple Web Workers to handle many of the back end functions these are all looking at a variety of cookies that are used to manage state of the page you are accessing among other things. It is likely that one of the webworkers is confused. Because this happens in your browser it makes this a very hard problem for Wix to trouble shoot because they cannot interrogate your browser
Hope some of these suggestions work
