Hello, I’m looking for a way to enable my travel site to save the customer’s selection via the button on the accommodation repeater. Similar to a store, when you put a product in the cart and then you have all the products you selected on one page. I need such a variant for readers to choose partners and experiences and then have everything visible on one page, where they can download this plan to email or pdf.
Sounds like an ambitious project 
From what you’ve described, there’s no “one size fits all” code or solution, but by the sounds of it, you’ll be looking at a coded solution.
Here’s a rough idea of the way I’d approach it:
- Members area for users to manage their account/profile
- CMS collection for managing a members choices
- CMS collection for the accommodation
When a member chooses an accommodation, that choice is saved in their choices with reference data to both the member and the choice they made. This will give persistence across devices/sessions to the site.
You’ll probably need to connect a third party to convert this data to an email or PDF, depending on how complex you’d like it to be.
