There’s two settings in the page options that I’m wondering what the difference is:
-
“SEO (Google) > What’s the page about? Add a description”
-
“Advanced SEO > Custom meta tags”
Please let me know.
Thanks.

Some articles that might provide clarity:
Corvid: About SEO and Routing - this article details how to make your site (especially dynamic pages) more SEO (Google) friendly.
Working with SEO Settings for Dynamic Pages - this is a new feature and might not yet be available in your area, but this is a major advance what was just recently announced.
SEO (Get Found on Google) - Wix has worked very closely with Google to provide the proper tools and access to Google SEO services to make Wix sites SEO friendly. There’s a lot of good material in the documentation.
We’d be glad to help you if you have questions regarding code that facilitates and helps SEO (e.g. routers). For other subjects, the Wix support team is the best address. You might also find SEO consultants on the WixArena - a hub where you can find Wix experts for hire.
Thanks for the info, I will check out the links. But can you quickly answer the question, yes or no, are these two settings duplicates? With regards to Google they appear to be overlapping. So for Yahoo and other search engines Only The Meta tags would be applicable versus the Google setting which is only applies to Google. Is that right?
The Wix support team is the best address for this topic.
