Why are the opening of lightboxes so laggy?

I experience so much lag on opening lightboxes. Whether its a lightbox menu or pop-up form, when triggered by a button or something on the site, it takes very long to load. Please fix this Wix!

You can try using prefetchPageResources() , as that is supposed to help.
