I’ve hard-coded 2 product search pages on 2 different websites via CMS + Repeater.
Now that I’m trying to do it, it tells me that “name” can’t be filtered on the stores/products collection. And the only things that CAN be filtered have bad filtering options now. What gives??
Nevermind, I got it. Seems they want me to use wix-search instead of datasets for product queries now. It’s way less flexible but oh well. Works good enough.
Yeah, that makes sense. Wix has been pushing developers toward wix-search for product searches lately. It may not be as flexible as datasets, but if it gets the job done and aligns with their current approach, it’s probably the better option. Glad you figured it out!
