Why would you do that?

Why would you replace the “Edit Site” button at the bottom with an “Upgrade” button? I know that you’re trying to make more money… but by doing that you’ve removed the quickest and most convenient way for me and other users to navigate to your Editor from the Dashboard no matter where we are… :-1:t3::-1:t3::-1:t3::-1:t3::-1:t3:

The upgrade button has always been there, just the edit button has moved.

While yes, it has become habit for many of us to navigate to the bottom left to edit the site, there are still other ways, which will quickly become habit.

But I understand the frustration as it now means I have to be on the home page of the dashboard to edit the site

That’s actually worse if it was already there but was removed and nothing better replaced it… makes you wonder what the purpose of removing it was.

Wix never does anything without data. I would imagine it was rarely used, but it’s interesting that the partners like it. I’ve seen this post also in the Facebook group. I’ll let the team know the Partners rather enjoyed that button there.

Hi there! This seems to be a new dashboard rollout the team is testing. The edit button was moved, but should be located by site information. As Brett mentioned above, we will share your feedback with the team!

@stevenjose I definitely miss this option as well. As others have said, this requires you to be on the main home page to be able to edit the site. Removing the option didn’t help fit something new there or really do anything except taking functionality away even if its not used by all.

@cstevens thanks for your feedback. I will definitely be sharing it with the team as I feel everyone feels the same about this change.

They just did it again… and removed the Edit Site button from the bottom left corner of the dashboard.
