I know that Wix templates can be purchased on Creative Market, but it would be great if they could be sold right here on Wix, creating a new source of income for designers.
It would also be helpful to add a section where people can specify the type of templates they are looking for, provide an example of a website, and this way designers would know what templates to create and offer better assistance.
And not only templates, but also code, sections, widgets, blocks, etc. For instance, if I’m looking for a specific type of menu for my site and someone has already created it, I can purchase it and it’s ready to use.
Selling/purchasing templates is not yet an option, but it’s in the works. We hope to have it on Wix Studio soon. (If I can get a more specific timeline on that, I will reply here!)
Wix Studio does offer an app and widget build environment where you can create and code within Wix Blocks. Blocks apps can be anything from simple widget layouts to full-fledged interactive web components, complete with APIs and code files. Submit your app to the Wix App Market to allow all Wix users to add it to their sites, either for a fee or free of charge.
