Wix Ascend .CSV Import Issue & Feature Request

We are working with a non-profit client who needs a CRM solution. We want to use Ascend to go with the website we are building. They don’t use any customer relationship management at the moment just email

I’ve built an Excel spreadsheet for them to fill out which includes custom fields that I created in Ascend and columns for labels for future marketing. They are located remotely in Kenya, so a localized spreadsheet works best until the 4G tower is installed.
Unfortunately, when you do a .csv import you can only match .csv fields to the default fields - not custom. You also can’t match .csv fields to a label. Though the platform does create a label for the import.

It would be AMAZING to be able to import lists that match custom fields (already added by the user in Ascend) and add labels (also already added by the user in Ascend) for future marketing.

In the meantime, is there a workaround anyone knows of to import labels and custom fields? We are sure there is a way to connect a database to the Ascend tools via code but haven’t mapped it out yet.

Thanks!

@guy-tadmor Looks like the initial post was from years ago. We recommend starting a new post in the feedback area if you have more input on this topic. (Just a heads up, we closed this topic to help others in the future.)
