Does anyone know of a way to turn off Wix chat notifications when I am the one on my website? I am new to the Wix partners and platform. I am currently still working on getting all pages of my business website designed, which obviously means I am on my site and using preview often. Every time I do this, I get that annoying “beep”. Plus I get a notification on my phone. I would greatly appreciate any tips on how to make the Chat not notify me when I am on my site.

@stevenjose Thank you so much for answering my question. Yes, I used that article to set up my chat feature. It doesn’t say how to turn on notifications when it is I that am on the site. I did re-read the article again and still I see no mention of how to make the chat feature not recognize me on my website. I do want notifications sent to me so I can be ready to interact; I just don’t want to be notified when it is me on the site. If you have any other thoughts, I would love to hear them. Otherwise, I guess I will just get rid of the chat feature. That is certainly not what I want to do; one reason I went with Wix is because of the customizations but this “dinging” at me 15 times in an hour as I work and “preview” my site is getting ridiculous.
