Hi,
I am facing problems connecting my client’s text input field to a Rich Text Field in the database collection.
I am also facing this problem in my own personal Wix account.
Is this a common or ongoing problem for other Wix Code Users as well?
Is there a way to troubleshoot or resolve this issue on our own?
If users cannot resolve it on their own, is Wix taking steps to resolve this issue?

It’s not possible, and was not planned this way.
You can’t connect text input component to rich text field.
Rich text can be used only to display information - thus it can only be connected to general text.
Ah that’s too bad.
I was hoping to create a product review section that allows customers to format their reviews and comments.
Is there another way for them to do this?
You mean allow users to set up fonts and sizes of information they want to enter?
If so, i don’t think it’s achievable… At this point we don’t have way tochange comps’ styles.
Current version is concentrated more on manipulating data for the site

This article really does not go into enough detail. The set up allows a display (although I can not get it to work), but does not allow the html to send the input to a database…thus purpose of the function as shown in that article??
In many cases, there’s no need to go through such lengths anymore. There is a rich text user input field available i the editor.
