I’m having an issue with the display of the Wix FAQ section on the mobile version of my website.
The FAQ block (questions and answers) is currently compressed and aligned to the left, and I’m unable to center or properly align it. I’ve tried various settings within the editor, but nothing has helped. How can I resolve this problem?
P.S. Before this technical issue, everything was set up correctly and displayed perfectly. The list on the mobile version looked exactly like the desktop version. I had 4 questions, and only the answer to the first question was open (expanded). The answers to the other three questions were hidden and would expand only when clicking on the plus sign (+) next to the question.
Could you please advise on how to configure the mobile version to revert to the previous settings? Specifically: 4 questions, the answer to only the first question open, and the answers to the remaining questions closed (with an expandable plus sign next to them).
Currently, in the list settings, the answers are not hiding (they are all open), and the entire block is compressed to the left.
The Wix FAQ is placed on every page, but the display issue on the mobile version seems inconsistent across pages.
There’s been many problems with Wix FAQ over the last year so eventually I just deleted it and coded my own FAQ. I need reliability and I don’t want my site to look amateur because Wix broke something over night every few weeks.
In fact, I’ve had to do this with quite a few things.
All of the questions being open and displaying the answer while also not showing the plus/minus in your design makes me think that on mobile you have the List layout while the desktop view has the Accordion layout. You can see in the gif below that the list shows everything while the accordion has a dropdown toggle and shows only one answer initially.
I’m not 100% sure about the spacing on the site but it looks like it could be the side padding plus maybe a visual error that might be fixed on reloading the editor.

Same Exact Issue I’m having. Everything looks fine on desktop, on mobile there’s an odd padding on the right side, questions/answers are condensed, title will not center.
In Settings my Title alignment set to center, spacing/padding set to zero. Something funky is going on because even when i change title alignment nothing happens. this is a wix issue. Any help?
I’ll ask but if you’ve not already done so, definitely report it as outlined in this topic so our customer support team can take a look and investigate further.
I might have a beta test running on mines but I double-checked that it’s not the cause. This seems to happen if you only have Title without the search nor the categories. Adding them seems to solve the alignment.
It seems the team is aware of this and is working on a fix so as mentioned, please report it so they can tag your account and notify you via email when the issue has been resolved. In the interim, as mentioned above, enabling search and/or the categories corrects the spacing.
